Clasificación básica de las plataformas elevadoras de tijera

The most commonly used classification logic in the industry is based on the mode of movement and usage conditions:

  1. Fixed scissor lift
The base is directly fixed to the ground and cannot be moved. The lifting tonnage is large, and the lifting stroke is relatively limited. It is mostly used for lifting goods on workshop assembly lines, pit loading, and fixed workstations in warehouses. It belongs to material lifting equipment and is generally not used for manned high-altitude operations.
  2. Mobile (Traction) Scissor Lift
Equipped with casters, manually pushed for displacement, and some can be externally towed for trailer movement; External power supply is required. Lightweight structure, suitable for indoor and outdoor environments with unstable and moderate frequency operations, commonly used for maintenance in shopping malls and factories.
  3. Fully self-propelled electric scissor lift
Equipped with a walking motor, the operator can walk, turn, and lift on the platform without the need for external force. Powered by batteries, with low noise and no exhaust emissions, it is suitable for high-altitude operations on flat ground, in factories, supermarkets, and exhibition halls. It is the mainstream manned high-altitude operation aircraft in the market.
  4. Off road self-propelled (track/tire) scissor lift
Diesel/lithium electric drive, large pattern off-road tires or track chassis, with climbing ability, suitable for construction sites with mud and uneven outdoor fields, outdoor construction and infrastructure sites, anti bumps, and can operate on non hardened ground.
  5. Vehicle mounted scissor lift
The scissor mechanism is installed on the chassis of a car, relying on the vehicle to achieve long-distance and fast transition, with strong maneuverability, and is commonly used for municipal street lights, traffic monitoring, and outdoor long-distance inspection and maintenance.
