1、 Core mechanical principles
The scissor lift relies on an X-shaped cross scissor arm structure to achieve vertical lifting and lowering. Multiple sets of metal rods are hinged through pin shafts to form a scalable scissor unit. The power pushes the hinge point of the scissor arm to expand outward or retract inward, converting the horizontal force into the vertical lifting force of the platform, maintaining the platform’s horizontal stability throughout the entire process, and relying on the lever principle to amplify the thrust, achieving low-power power driven high load lifting and lowering.

2、 Mainstream power drive principle
Hydraulic drive (most commonly used): The motor drives the hydraulic pump to generate high-pressure oil, which enters the hydraulic cylinder through solenoid valves, throttle valves, etc., and pushes the piston rod to extend and retract, driving the scissor arm to move; When descending, the oil flows back to the oil tank through the valve group and stabilizes the flow rate through the balance valve to prevent the platform from falling due to load changes.
Screw Drive: A stepper motor paired with a reducer drives the screw to rotate, driving the screw nut to move laterally and pulling the scissor arm to complete opening and closing. During design, the pressure angle of the mechanism needs to be controlled to avoid excessive ineffective power consumption and power waste.
